What makes LED by CHEVAL different from other LED systems?

All our systems are developed and produced in Sweden, combining proven photobiomodulation wavelengths with premium materials. They are designed specifically for horses, durable enough for stable life, and easy to use in daily care.

How long is the treatment time?

A typical treatment session takes only 5–10 minutes, depending on the area you are targeting. The system is designed for quick, effective use, making it easy to integrate into your horse’s daily routine without disrupting training or stable life.

How often can it be used?

LED Treatment is non-invasive and safe for daily use. For general care, many choose to apply it once a day, before or after training, or during recovery. In some cases, such as supporting injury treatment, it can be used more frequently, up to three times per day with at least 90 minutes between sessions, a guideline based on established practice in photobiomodulation.

Is it safe?

Yes. LED Treatment utilises red, near-infrared and infrared light, which is non-invasive, does not cause heat damage, and has been extensively studied in both human and veterinary applications. It is considered safe for regular use and does not require special protective equipment for either horse or handler.

What if it breaks?

Every system is backed by a 4-year warranty, reflecting our commitment to long-lasting quality. The batteries are covered by a 1-year warranty, since battery capacity naturally decreases over time depending on use.

Should service ever be required, all repairs are handled in-house to ensure consistent quality and short turnaround times.

How often do I need to charge the battery?

Battery life depends on how frequently and how long you use the system. In regular daily use, most customers recharge the battery every 2–3 days, depending on the number of treatments. We also offer spare batteries for uninterrupted use.

How long is the lifetime of the system?

LED by CHEVAL systems are built with durable, stable-friendly materials designed to withstand daily equestrian care. The diodes have a burn time of up to 50,000 hours, which equals more than five years of continuous 24/7 use. In everyday equestrian routines, this means the LEDs will effectively last a lifetime. Combined with premium materials, the system is made to endure everyday use. Every unit is backed by a 4-year warranty covering production faults, and because all service is handled in-house, you can rely on lasting quality and support.

Shipping and payment

How much is shipping?

Shipping is free for all LED by CHEVAL systems within the EU. For other products and regions, the shipping cost is calculated depending on your location.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept the most common payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and other secure online payments.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. VAT will be automatically deducted for orders outside the EU. Shipping times and costs may vary depending on location.

Rentals

How does the rental work?

You select the product you want to rent and complete your order directly on our website. The system is delivered to you ready for use, with everything you need included. Your rental period starts the day you receive the product.

Is there a deposit or minimum rental time?

No. We do not require any deposit, and there is no binding rental time. You rent for as long as you need.

Can I later purchase the product I am renting?

Yes. Up to three months of rental fees can be credited toward the purchase price if you decide to buy your rental unit.

What happens if the product breaks during the rental?

Our systems are built to last, and most issues can be solved quickly. If something happens, we handle repairs in-house at our production in Sweden. We will provide you with a shipping label, and once we receive the product, we make a proper assessment and solution right away. Any costs are fully covered by us.

What if my payment fails?

If a payment attempt fails, the system will continue to try until the payment goes through. This ensures your rental is kept active without interruption. After 10 days, if the payment is still not fulfilled, we have to end your rental and charge you the full price of the product.

How do I end my rental?

If you no longer need the product, contact us at info@ledbycheval.com. We will send you instructions on how to return it to us. Once we have received and inspected it, we confirm the end of your rental.
