Treatment plans
Our LED Treatment Systems are designed to give your horse the best conditions for performance and recovery. Here, we have gathered tailored treatment plans to help you maximize the benefits of your LED Treatment System.
! In the case of acute injury or trauma, always consult a veterinarian first.
Pre-training treatment optimizes performance by boosting blood circulation, relieving muscle tension and stiffness, and enhancing flexibility. It may also help minimize the risk of strain and fatigue.
Plan: 5–10 minutes per area before training.
Post-training treatment supports recovery by reducing muscle fatigue, stiffness, and soreness. It improves circulation to help clear metabolic waste and promote relaxation.
Plan: 5–10 minutes per area after training.
Horses, like athletes, benefit from dedicated rest and recovery days to help their bodies recharge. Using LED Treatment on these days can enhance relaxation, reduce muscle tension, and support circulation without the demands of training or exercise. A well-planned recovery routine contributes to long-term soundness, improved mobility, and overall well-being.
Plan: 5–10 minutes per area. Recommended once or twice on designated rest days.
LED Treatment supports tendon and ligament recovery by reducing inflammation, enhancing tissue repair, and promoting natural healing. It increases circulation to the affected area, supporting recovery and resilience.
Plan: 5-10 minutes, 2–3 times per day, with at least 90 minutes between treatments
LED Treatment enhances joint health by reducing stiffness, relieving discomfort, and improving flexibility. By increasing circulation and modulating inflammation, it supports long-term mobility and benefits horses with joint issues and arthritis.
Plan: 5–10 minutes per area, once or twice daily based on need.
LED Treatment enhances circulation, reduces swelling, and supports overall hoof health. It is particularly beneficial for horses recovering from hoof issues or those prone to prolonged standing, helping to maintain comfort and circulation.
Plan: 5-10 minutes per area, once or twice daily.
LED Treatment enhances tissue repair, reduces inflammation, and supports collagen production, aiding recovery from wounds and skin conditions such as rain rot, mud fever, or post-surgical incisions.
Plan: 5–10 minutes per area, once or twice daily, depending on severity.
Many horses experience tension or soreness in their topline due to saddle fit, rider imbalance, or workload. LED Treatment can relieve tension, improve circulation, and promote relaxation in the back and lumbar regions.
Plan: 5–10 minutes per area, once daily or before/after riding.
For older horses or those with degenerative joint issues, consistent LED Treatment can help manage discomfort and support mobility in daily activity.
Plan: 5–10 minutes per affected area, once or twice daily, long-termuse recommended.
LED Treatment has been found to have calming effects due to its impact on circulation, muscle relaxation, and the nervous system. It can be useful before transport, competitions, or veterinary procedures.
Plan: 5–10 minutes on key tension areas (poll, back, shoulders), asneeded.
LED Treatment promotes lymphatic drainage by enhancing circulation and reducing fluid buildup, which can help horses with swollen legs, stocking up, or post-exercise edema. It is particularly beneficial after prolonged standing, travel, or injury-related swelling.
Plan: 5–10 minutes per area, once or twice daily, until swelling subsides.
Regular LED Treatment can be used as part of a preventative care routine to maintain overall health, reduce stiffness, and support circulation. Incorporating LED sessions into a horse’s weekly schedule can help prevent injuries, muscle fatigue, and joint stiffness while promoting relaxation and optimal performance. It also supports faster recovery from minor strains before they develop into bigger issues.
Plan: 5–10 minutes per area, 2–4 times per week, depending on workload and individual needs.
Important Considerations!
These treatment plans serve as general guidelines, but every horse is unique, and individual responses to LED Treatment may vary. Factors such as age, workload, health status, and sensitivity should be considered when determining the most effective approach. Adjustments to treatment duration or frequency may be necessary based on the horse’s needs and response.
In the case of acute injury or trauma, always consult a veterinarian first. LED Treatment is a supportive tool and should not replace professional veterinary care when medical attention is required.
